Spinout PSP

Spinout PSP is essentially another game like “Marble Madness” that appeared many years ago. Control your ball around multiple enviroments, against the clock, avoiding hazzards. Avoid your ball going off course and suffering ill fate. The game idea sounds shallow, the gameplay soon reflects that notion, with poor depth of play, nothing seems to hold your attention for long. To be fair, the game can make you suffer from vertigo, so the concept of falling over the edge of a rail suspended above a large city is acheived by the games layout. The games graphics are simplistic and uncluttered, this often leads you to think budget game, which it probably is. I doubt many people will be playing this game for long, the shallow depth of play, annoyances of your ball going off route will soon lead you to something more wholesome. Different? yes! Original? maybe! Exciting and Deep? No!!!! Ball busting annoyances aplenty! Looks like a budget release. 4.5\10 Rated.

Tinnitus – Help For That Annoying Ringing In The Ears

There are millions of Americans who suffer from a ringing, buzzing, or humming in the ears, called Tinnitus.  Most of these people find it just an annoyance, but some are faced with more severe problems.

The three most common reasons a person gets Tinnitus is:

1. Age-related hearing loss

2. Exposure to Loud noises such as motors, explosions, guns, music, etc.

3. Stress and depression

When I first experienced Tinnitus I was only 55 years old and I was never exposed to loud noises, therefore my tinnitus was probably caused by stress.  I was packing my belongings and making a move from California to the state of Washington.  As soon as I got moved and settled into my new home, the ringing in my ears went away and did not return until 10 years later.  My tinnitus was very mild compared to others I have talked to or heard about.  It was annoying and only lasted about 3 weeks.

In addition to the age-related hearing loss, the loss of loud noises and stress being the most common causes of Tinnitus, there are some other less common causes.  They are earwax blockage, inner or middle ear problems, changes in ear bones, menierre’s disease and head or neck injuries.  In rare instances, blood vessel disorders are linked to tinnitus. Also, there are some medications that cause tinnitus and they are antibiotics, cancer medication, diuretics, quinine medications, chloroquine and taking 12 or more aspirin per day.  It is very important to see your doctor at the onset of Tinnitus to make sure there is not a serious problem in your body which is causing the ringing in the ears.

Some of the ways we can prevent tinnitus in the first place and what we can do to ease the suffering caused by tinnitus are:

1. Avoid loud noises. Stay physically away from loud noises such as music and so on.

2. Stop drinking alcohol and caffeine.

3. Avoid the medications which can cause Tinnitus.

4. Maintain the proper nutrition.

5. Reduce Stress.

Most of these tips are easy to do, but Stress? not so much. If you hear the ringing, buzzing, or humming in your ears day and night and for 3 or 4 months, you might be ready to tear your hair out, or worse.  It would help to find the cause of the stress you are feeling. Keep yourself busy, try to relax and the time you have the ringing in the ears will be a lot easier. To rule out any serious problems that might be causing your tinnitus, it would be a good idea to consult with your doctor.

Hearing loss is a big problem and it might be time we start doing something about it! Here is just one  little way we can help.  When purchasing an iPod or MP3 for a youngster, have the store or source of your purchase turn down the volume in the headphone.

If you suffer from tinnitus and you would like something besides medication or surgery, there is a guide available with a natural method of dealing with Tinnitus. It just might be the solution you have been looking for.

Is Your Dog’s Excessive Barking Annoying The Neighbors?

Along with a baby’s crying, the persistant barking of a dog is one of the most annoying sounds. But is there anything you can do as a dog owner to ‘persuade’ your pooch to stop barking? Here are a few suggestions from an experienced dog owner.

The bark.  It can be annoying.  But, in effect, it is the way the dog is communicating to you.  For example, it can mean, ‘hello’ or it can mean ‘go away.’  It can mean that they want to play or that they are protecting their territory.  You may think your dog is barking too much, or your neighbors may think so.  But, before you can put an end to your trouble, it’s best to figure out why she is barking in the first place.

Some dogs have been breed to bark so it is instinctive that they bark endlessly.  For example, the beagle is a hunting dog and was trained to bark when it spotted the prey.  Another example are some toy dogs which were bred to be a warning signals of invasion.  Even so, some dogs within these breeds bark more than they should, some more than others.

Did you encourage this behavior in your dog?  If you give your dog a reward for barking then they are thinking it’s a good thing.  Not necessarily a treat, the reward may have been attention.  Even if you think it was a scolding you gave her, she saw it as attention.  Are you trying to quiet her? Did you bend down and pet her, sooth her or just talk to her?  Yes, this is attention.  You are actually encouraging this behavior when the dog barks and you react like this.

There are several ways in which you can work with your dog to stop this behavior.  One of those ways is to use a bark collar.  These collars all work in different ways but they can disperse a citronella scent that the dog doesn’t like or they can even provide a small shock when the bad behavior occurs.  But, this will not work in all cases and some do not like the idea of ‘hurting’ the animal even though the dog is not harmed at all.  Another solution would be to use a professional trainer or to pick up a few books that are how to’s on training your animal and work one on one with the dog to stop the behavior.

When a dog barks, he is protecting you or just warning you.  The dog is trained by ancestors to do just that;  to warn people.  It makes sense then that the dog would be a little upset at there is a man approaching the house even though he visits daily with the mail.  The dog wants you to know that the man is there and that you should react to the mailman.  Those dogs that do bark too much may need some help.  You can find a lot of help on training your dog to stop barking in books or with professionals.  Use training as well as patience to help your dog learn when its okay and when it is not.
